YYC Clean Touch is a residential cleaning business operating in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information of visitors to our website and people who reach out to us for a booking or a quote.

03What we collect

Information you give us through the booking form. When you submit our booking form, you provide your name, phone number, and (optionally) your email address and a comment about the service you need. We use this information solely to respond to your booking request. Submissions are delivered to us over Telegram.

Anonymous, aggregated analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use our site. This includes which pages are visited, device and browser type, approximate location at the city level, and how visitors navigate between pages. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Session recordings and heatmaps (Microsoft Clarity). Microsoft Clarity records anonymized sessions showing mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling, and builds heatmaps of how visitors interact with our pages. Clarity is configured to mask form inputs by default, so keystrokes you type into form fields are not captured in these recordings.

04Why we collect it

• To respond to your booking inquiries and provide the service you asked about.
• To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve layout, content, and usability.
• To measure the effectiveness of our marketing and referrals at an aggregate level.

05Third parties

We rely on two third-party service providers to run the analytics described above:

• Google (Google Analytics 4) — see the Google Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity) — see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Data collected by these tools is processed on Google's and Microsoft's servers under their own terms. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Because Google and Microsoft are global companies, your information may be stored and processed on servers located outside of Canada, including in the United States. While that data is outside Canada, it may be accessible to foreign courts, law enforcement, and government authorities under the laws of those countries. We only use providers that offer reasonable, industry-standard protections for the information they handle.

06Cookies & tracking

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device to distinguish sessions and understand return visits. We use these purely for analytics. We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or profiling. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser add-on such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also limit Microsoft Clarity by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser, and you can block or clear cookies for this site at any time in your browser settings.

07Your rights

Under PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Withdraw your consent to our use of your personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

08Safeguards

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we collect against loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification. Booking details sent to us over Telegram are protected by Telegram's encryption in transit, and access is limited to the people who need it to respond to your request. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity.

09Data retention

Booking inquiries received through the form are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and to provide the service you booked. Once a booking is complete and there is no ongoing need to keep your information, we delete it.

Analytics data held by Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity is retained according to the default retention settings of those platforms.

10Children's privacy

Our services and this website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
