01Introduction & acceptance
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the YYC Clean Touch website and the residential cleaning services we provide. By booking a service with us — through our website, over the phone, or by any other means — or by using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't book or use the site.
02Services
YYC Clean Touch provides residential cleaning services in Calgary and surrounding areas, including regular cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in / move-out cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and auto detailing.
The specific scope of work for any given job is agreed with you at the time of booking. Prices shown on the website are starting estimates. Final pricing depends on factors such as the size of your home, its condition, the type of cleaning requested, and any special requirements, and will be confirmed with you before service begins.
03Booking & quotes
You can request a booking through the form on our website or by contacting us directly by phone. After we receive your request, we'll follow up to confirm the details of the job and provide a quote for the work.
Estimates shown on the website or given informally are not final, binding prices. A booking is only confirmed once we've agreed the scope, price, date, and time in writing or verbally with you.
04Payment
Payment terms — including accepted methods and when payment is due — are agreed with you at the time of booking. Any deposit, invoicing arrangement, or after-service payment window will be confirmed directly before service begins. Unpaid amounts may be subject to reasonable follow-up and collection.
05Cancellation & rescheduling
We understand plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please give us reasonable notice — ideally at least [24 hours] before your scheduled appointment — so we can offer that slot to another client.
Cancellations made with less than the notice above, or last-minute lock-outs where our team arrives and cannot access your home, may be subject to a cancellation fee agreed at the time of booking. We'll always try to be reasonable about genuine emergencies.
06Access to your home
You're responsible for providing safe and timely access to your home at the scheduled appointment time. Arrangements for keys, lockboxes, alarm codes, buzzer entry, or someone being present to let us in are agreed with you directly before the first visit.
Any keys or access information you provide will be handled with reasonable care and used only for the purpose of servicing your home.
07Our responsibilities
We treat your home and belongings with care. YYC Clean Touch is licensed and insured, and our team members are background-checked. We use cleaning products and methods appropriate to the surfaces in your home.
If something is damaged as a result of our negligence during a cleaning visit, please contact us promptly — ideally within [48 hours] of the visit — with details and, where possible, photos. We'll investigate and, where we're responsible, make it right through repair, replacement, or another reasonable resolution.
08Client responsibilities
To help us do the best job safely, we ask that you:
- Secure valuables, cash, jewelry, and irreplaceable or highly fragile items before we arrive.
- Let us know in advance about any hazards, delicate surfaces, or items that need special handling or should be avoided.
- Provide a safe working environment — for example, please secure any aggressive or anxious pets so our team can work without risk to themselves or your animals.
- Make sure the space is reasonably accessible for cleaning (e.g. not blocked by hazards or unsafe conditions).
09Satisfaction
Your satisfaction matters. If we've missed something or you're not happy with a specific part of the clean, please contact us within a reasonable time after the visit — ideally within [24 hours] — and we'll do our best to put it right, whether that's a re-clean of the affected area or another fair resolution.
10Limitation of liability
We take responsibility for our work, but our liability is subject to reasonable limits. To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or issues that existed before our visit (for example, worn finishes, hairline cracks, or items already broken).
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses — such as lost income, lost time, or lost opportunities — arising from our services.
- Where we are responsible for a loss, our total liability for any single visit is limited to a reasonable amount, generally not exceeding the price paid for that visit, unless a higher amount is required by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of Alberta or Canada — including liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11Photos
We may take before-and-after photos of the areas we clean for quality assurance, training, and marketing purposes (for example, to share on our website or social media). When we use photos publicly, we will not identify your home, address, or any personal information without your permission.
If you'd prefer that we don't take photos in your home, or that we don't use any photos from your home for marketing, just let us know — at the time of booking or any time after — and we'll respect that.
12Governing law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or our services are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Alberta. You agree that the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction to resolve any such dispute.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, if our services or business practices change. The "Effective" date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version. Continuing to use the site or book our services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
